Miley Cyrus has a former teen star’s support and understanding

A lot of things Miley Cyrus has done have been caught by either video or pictures, but one former teen star is speaking out to defend what these young celebrities go through.

Melissa Joan Hart, who became a star at 15 with ‘Clarissa Explains It All,’ believes that these teen stars have it much harder, states The Post Chronicle (via Parade magazine). “When you have Twitter and you can put things directly out to the world, it’s dangerous,” Hart says about social networking and teens.

“Miley Cyrus and all of them, they’ve got a lot to handle. And we all go through it. We pretty much all went through a crazy period in our teens and 20s, but it wasn’t on record,” Hart says about how things are more difficult, and somewhat unfair, for young stars of today.
